I hope Gage calls me from his mission......

On March 29th, two months after we dropped him off at the MTC, Gage began his long awaited journey to the Philippines. He got to call his family and friends along his journey.

Because we were not certain of an exact time we went to Brian and Kollette's early in the evening for dinner and to pass the time.

We had Navajo Tacos for dinner

After dinner we played games and talked to pass the time.

Then the phone rang. Brian was the 1st to answer

Kaitlyn had a turn too. The kids were up well past their bedtime so they were a little tired.

Kollette really did get a turn but I didn't get a picture only this one that was taken after she talked to him

The little one's did not last very long after their turns to talk to Gage. It was pretty late after all.

It was good to hear from him and he sounded so excited to actually be going to the Philippines and learning a different language. Even the two emails we have gotten from him sound pretty positive. I know he will do well and am looking forward to talking to him again hopefully in May
