Since moving in here we have had a huge problem with the rain gutter over the porch not doing it's job right. Instead of going down the down spout when the ice melts it drains right onto the porch and walk way. This causes a really big problem when it freezes as it makes the porch very dangerous. Jared has been working on keeping the ice off the stairs and walk way, while also trying to melt the ice in the rain gutter so it will drain properly. Friday night we found this rather large Icicle hanging off the roof.Monday, February 4, 2008

Holy smokes!! that thing is huge! It's bad enough that we have all this snow but it really sucks when your gutters don't work right! I am SOOOO ready for spring to come :)
Dang! That could be used as a weapon! Who needs a security system? All you need is a sign that says, "Watch for falling killer icicles!" Be careful on those stairs! ...and make the builder come back and fix the gutter! :)
